CREATE A DISAPPEARING FOUNTAIN

Pond-building supplies availableStep One: Dig a hole approximately 12 inches deep and wide enough to catch the spray of the fountain head.

Step Two: Line the hole with a 45ml pond liner. Available at most garden centers.

Step Three: Place pump (“Pond pump” also available at most garden centers.) with extension at the center and bottom of the hole on top of the pond liner. The fountainhead should be sticking up just at the top of the hole.

Step Four: Fill the hole with a 1½” or 2” rock of your choice, burying the pump to the top of the extension. Check the product list at www.dakotaaggregate.com for landscape and decorative rock choices.

Step Six: Fill the hole as necessary with water. Avoid letting the pond go dry, as the pump will burn out. Landscape the surrounding area to disguise the pond liner and enjoy.
